Yoga Nidra for Anxiety

Are you already aware that meditation is good for anxiety, but the thought of meditating alone sounds impossible? This form of guided meditation leads you through the body, breath, mind and emotions to learn about your own "stress patterns" and guides you in ways to begin to change them from the inside out.

Yoga for Osteoarthritis

This class is appropriate for those trying to avoid joint replacement and for pre and post joint replacement surgeries. This would be a nice adjunct class to facilitate any physical therapy that you have been given. The stronger and more mobile you are the better your joints will feel and if needed, the easier it will be to recover from surgery.

Iris helped me to adapt yoga poses and use props in ways that benefit my body but don’t exacerbate my pain. I am so grateful for the class - I am stronger, more flexible, and have better balance now. I have learned body awareness and breathing techniques that help me every day to cope with stressful situations when they come up. What a gift. Plus, we have fun in our class!
